SurveyScout .com
Is Survey Scout Worth It?

Reviewer's product rating:

Surveyscout .com appears to be a lot like other
online survey websites. Once you sign up, you’ll have access to their
database of survey opportunities that you can qualify for.
Each survey that you successfully complete will be worth a certain
amount of money, which will then be credited to your account for withdrawal at a later date or once you reach a
certain amount. It sounds like a pretty good way to make a little bit of
extra money on the side, and in some cases the “paid survey” thing can be a pretty decent gig. When it comes to
Surveyscout, though, you’re better off just staying far away because the odds are stacked against
you.
Unlike a lot of sites, the surveys at Survey scout are relatively
hard to qualify for. While it’s understandable that you won’t qualify for every survey that you see, the number
that you just don’t qualify for with this site seem to be significantly higher than some other survey sites that
I’ve tried.
Even when you do qualify, you’re going to find that in most cases
you’re not going to be getting very much out of the surveys that you take. It gets frustrating pretty quickly, and
if you’re like me then you’ll probably end up giving up on the surveys before too long.
This is probably what Surveyscout wants you
to do, of course. They get paid for the surveys that people do take, and they also get the sign-up fee whenever you
first join the site. This means that they’re making money off of you before you even take your first survey, and if
you quit the site then they’ll just make up the lost money from your few surveys with the next person who
joins.
It’s a great system if you’re the ones on the
Surveyscout side… if you’re just a person who’s trying to make a little bit of extra money with
the surveys, though, then you’re pretty much out of luck.
There are quite a few websites out there that let you take surveys
online for free. The number of surveys that you qualify for are going to be significantly higher with these sites
since the site itself only makes money when you successfully complete a survey… this means you’ll be getting more
surveys and making more money. Since that’s the goal, making money instead of spending money, you’ll be much better
off with one of those free sites than you would be signing up with Surveyscout.
In the end I guess it’s important that you take the time to learn
more about money making opportunities before you spend money on them. Some of them are legitimate, and may even be
really great deals.
Others are like Surveyscout and are just looking to
make money off of people who are looking to make a little extra when they’re at home. Make sure that you’re not
just feeding money to the latter type, and that there aren’t free alternatives available that give better results
as well.
