Postcardprofits .com
An interesting premise, but not a productive way to make money

PostcardProfits .com suggests that you’ll be able to make huge amounts of money by mailing out cheap postcards. I’ve seen a lot of different money making opportunities on various websites, but until I ran across this site I’d never heard of any involving mailing out postcards like this.
I can see how this sort of thing might work in some situations, but for the most part this program isn’t going to do you very much good at all.
At its most basic, the PostcardProfits program is a marketing program similar to some of the mass-mailing programs that you might have seen before. The main difference is that instead of sending out stuffed envelopes you’ll be sending out postcards in an effort to get people interested in a product or service.
You might have gotten postcards like this yourself in the mail; those postcards are the same essential types of cards that you’ll be sending out, but most often are sent out by professional mass-mailing companies instead individuals like you and me.
This, of course, is a big part of the problem. It’s much more difficult to find clients who are interested in hiring you to do mailings for them because there are professional services out there who can do these mailings in larger quantities and most likely for a lower price.
You’ll be entering the market with this competition without the benefit of their credibility, history, or size, and in most cases you’re going to get overlooked. Even if you do find products or services to advertise, the amount of work that you have to put into preparing these mailings is much more than the PostcardProfits program leads you to believe and in most cases isn’t going to be worth the money that you make.
All of this is a secondary concern, of course; I had some specific problems associated with this particular program. One of the things that I noticed was that soon after I signed up for the “free” portion of the program I started noticing an increase in the amount of junk mail I was getting in my email inbox.
I can’t say for sure that it’s because of this program, but the timing of it at least seems a bit suspicious. Combine that with information that’s at best only moderately useful and that seems to undercut the amount of work involved while greatly inflating the potential profits that you could make.
If you want to find out more about postcard marketing there are a number of sites online with free information that could help you to get started. Even after going through some of the information in this program I found that I was able to learn more online than I did from the “secrets” that the PostcardProfits site offered.
You’re not going to get rich doing this sort of thing, but you can at least make some money… provided that you don’t end up spending more than you’re going to make on “secret” programs like this.
