Michaels Traffic Videos
Lots of content, but I’m still not sure if it’s worth the money

I was looking for ways to increase traffic to my blog so that I could hopefully make some more money with my ads, and that’s when I found Michaels Traffic Videos .com. It’s the first time that I’d ever seen a site like this that used video tutorials to teach you everything, and I decided that I’d go ahead and sign up even though I thought that it seemed a little expensive.
They say that hindsight is 20/20, and looking back I probably wouldn’t buy a package like Michaels Traffic Videos again even though it does have some good information in it and a lot of topics are covered; too much of the information is just too basic for people who already know about building traffic. This might be great for someone who’s just starting out with a website or blog, though at $97 there are probably cheaper ways for them to get started.
Like I said, there’s a lot of content to the Michaels Traffic Videos, and close to 50 videos in all… if the package were cheaper then I’d say that it was worth it. There are some bonus materials that come with the Michaels traffic videos package as well, and while they do add a little more value to it I feel that once again there’s a little bit too much stuff contained in them that’s already well-known or mentioned in one form or another in a lot of places online.
Of course I guess that’s to be expected, because if the “secret bonus material” was so amazing then it would be the main focus of the Michaels Traffic Videos package and not something that’s just been tacked on at the end to help push the sale.
One thing that I definitely didn’t like about the package, though, is the fact that all of the videos are hosted online as Flash videos. I mean, I know that it’s mentioned at the bottom of the screen in the information box, and I’m glad that they actually came out and said that in advance instead of letting people find out after they’d purchased the program.
After getting into watching them, though, I’ve decided that it’s kind of annoying to have to visit a website just to watch the videos. If there’s any internet problems to where you can’t connect to the site then you’ll have to wait until you can connect again before you can watch them, and I’d really be able to love to burn them to a DVD so that I could watch them away from my computer. I guess that’s just a preference thing, though.
If they dropped the price of the package or added a lot more groundbreaking new content that wasn’t just a new version of older techniques then I’d definitely say that people should get this. Even a small price reduction and the ability to download the videos might make it worth buying now.
But the way it is now and the price that it’s at, even with the $20 “special discount”, just isn’t worth buying unless you’ve got the money to spare and no real experience with website and blog traffic at all.
