Sound familiar?
When I first found the Maverick Money
Makers website I thought that it looked very professional and full of great details and information both
in text form and on videos. Yes, I was convinced that it was a good idea to join.
Once you join you are almost overwhelmed by the
information available. Maverick Money Makers is a video based training club. The online video
tutorials are a compilation of income opportunities through affiliate marketing.
This program is designed to assist individuals
who want to make money working from home. It is considered a "secret club".
In the members area of the Maverick
Money Makers club there is a selection of "blueprints" for making money fast. Some were not to my liking
but decided to try one that involved promoting another companies product for which I would be paid a commission.
This is basic affiliate marketing so felt safe in trying it. I had to buy a domain name and then write a Google
Adwords advert. Google declined the advert as it breeched their conditions. I contacted Maverick Money
Makers and was told to build my own website. To cut a long story short, it did not work.
I felt let down, so began to analyse the
situation a little closer. Firstly, on the Maverick Money Makers website they are very cagey about telling you that
the $97 is a monthly membership fee. I only found out when I signed up on the Clickbank form! That should have
started alarm bells ringing but I was desperate to make money so I ignored it.
Secondly, up until recently, Mack Michaels claimed on the top of his website that it was the "Original money
making club since 1997". This is NOT the case as you can see from checking on GoDaddy that Maverick Money
Makers was registered on 3rd September, 2008!! I now noticed that this claim is no longer showing on the
top of the website.
Thirdly, Mack Michaels is also not his real
name. He has changed his name four times in almost as many months. In June 2008 he was using the name of Chris
Clayton and then Chris Luck to name but two. He also ran another company called "Income Greed" which was very
similar to Maverick Money Makers. When customers started asking questions about why the
strategies did not work, he disappeared only to emerge as Mack Michaels.
Finally, when I did some retrospective research
for the term “maverick money makers reviews,” all I found was a bunch of affiliates trying to make money from
promoting the Maverick Money Makers program itself!
I feel like a lone voice in the wilderness, but
I will state my case based on my own experience, that Maverick Money Makers is a scam and is to be
avoided at all costs.
