As if losing at the races is not bad enough, I had the unfortunate pleasure at losing more money with the Horse Race Betting A PHDS GUIDE TO WINNING AT THE RACES.

When I first came across this site I actually thought I might be on to something great.

The e-book was self explanatory and this guy makes the daily picks for you. You just place the bet and win. Easy and fool proof or so I thought. I should have known better as really the only person who ever makes anything off these sites is the owner. I guess this was another lesson of – if it is too good to be true, than it is.

Now that I look back on my $149 investment in Horse Race Betting A PHDS GUIDE TO WINNING AT THE RACES, I realize that this guy really caters to those in dire straights. The way he gets you to believe he can help is that he is banking on you being a gambler and needing to win back your life or crumble.

Basically he is making off with the last few remaining dollars a gambling addict could have. Promising to dig you out of the hole that your addiction has put you in alone should have been a huge red flag as to why I should have steered away. I guess I was not in dire straight so I was not paying attention to selling gimmick as much as how much I could win using this system.

Basically this guy uses his several degrees to accredit himself as a money expert. I actually bought into this not even thinking if he could be lying. Anyone can say they have a degree or five and actually be lying. How would I know? It sounded good at the time. Not only did I not win the majority of the time, his daily picks were nothing. I have not even been a serious gambler and now I know why. While it is fun to bet on a race or two once in awhile, I would lose too much money doing it for a living.

No matter who says they can make sure you win more, they cannot. It is lies. There is never a sure fire way to predict who is going to win a race, even if you know who runs best in the rain or has new shoes.
