Esources .co.uk claim to be the UK's largest wholesalers and dropshippers directory which is very user friendly and packed with hundreds of profitable sources. Perhaps they are but this is my experience of esources. I was looking for a wholesaler to buy goods from in order to sell on eBay. Not rocket science I grant you but it was going to help me through a difficult financial patch. I saw and read a webpage about esources proclaiming it to be the answer to a seller's dream by finding wholesalers who could provide great profit margins. That is what you really want if you want to make a success of selling on eBay. I was able to browse the esources website for wholesalers and products but no prices were being displayed. They are only displayed once you have signed up. There is also no telephone number or fax number available until after you have signed up. Despite this I was hooked. I filled out esources online form and paid £97 for a lifetime membership via PayPal. Navigating the site proved to be quite simple and the response times from the wholesalers I contacted was very quick. So far so good! Now comes the downside. Once you have signed up there is a telephone and fax number for you to use BUT no-one answers the phone. It even tells you on the website (once you have signed and paid up) that no telephone service is being provided! What surprised me most of all, was that despite the claims of "profitable sources" the prices from the wholesalers were twice as much as the retail price on eBay! For example, I looked at a selection of 16GB Flash Drives (memory sticks) and they were being offered to me at £22, yet on eBay the same items were selling for between £7 and £15 retail!! I was so disillusioned that within 24 hours I asked for a full refund of my membership fees based on their offer of a "60 Day Satisfaction Guarantee". I wrote three emails, sent one letter and made countless phone calls but did not get a response from anyone at esources. This struck me as being very unprofessional, so I did a little investigation. I now wish I had done the investigation before having paid for the membership. According to Nominet the UK's directory of domain names, esources is registered to a Stefano Carboni, 27 Old Gloucester Street, London, WC1N 3XX. Basically, it is a one-man band. I also tried for a refund through PayPal but they too do not want to know! Please avoid being caught out by esources like I was. If wholesalers are legitimate they would display their wares, prices and conditions up-front without hiding behind the membership scam.
