Is Cell Phone Cash a Scam?

Mac Michaels has recently brought out the Cell Phone Cash affiliate marketing product for those who are looking for a make money online opportunity.

At first glance it all sounds great and makes perfect sense. This is obviously what Mac Michaels is relying on.

For those of you who are not familiar with Mac Michaels and his past efforts, please read the review of his previous product "Maverick Money Makers" and make up your own minds. Nevertheless, I decided to join the Cell Phone Cash course to see what all the fuss was about.

Once your payment is confirmed you are directed to the member's area. The course consists of 7 different modules with videos attached. It all looked good so far. The concept is to teach you affiliate marketing but applying it to the cell phone market.

Having done as instructed on the video tutorials, I created an advert (using the recommended company) for the iphone and paid $50 for my advert credits. The next thing that happened was that I received an email letter from them saying that adverts will not be accepted from websites that are not optimized for the iphone. This means that the website has a special format to fit the cell phone requirements so that it can be properly viewed. My problem is that I cannot see any Clickbank websites that are optimized for the cell phone.

Here is another strange thing I discovered about the Cell Phone Cash course. You are advised not to use Clickbank landing pages that contain a video. From my experience of the Clickbank sales letters and landing pages is that the majority have videos! What are we supposed to do?

The cell phone industry is massive with over 4.3 billion potential customers so theoretically, it should be a good time to get involved. Like all things theoretical they tend not to work out too well in practice.

Let me ask you a question. Would you buy a digital product from your cell phone? I thought not.

Therein lies the problem of the Cell Phone Cash system. You will end up spending a fortune on advertising to get lots of impressions and a few clicks but NO SALES.

Be smart, avoid investing in the Cell Phone Cash course and look at an alternative.
