I was looking for some way to make extra money without having to attempt some form of business online, and someone recommended the Cashing In On Christmas program to me. While at first I laughed and explained that I was not really interested in manual labor, I thought that perhaps I was being too judgmental. I ordered the program blue print for this idea, and started to go through the whole process. Cashing In On Christmas program went on to explain that I could make a great deal of money, simply installing Christmas lights on people's homes during the holiday months. The notion that someone would pay in excess of $2,000 to have someone install their Christmas lights on their home is preposterous to say the least. This is what I found so amusing about this business plan that I regretfully paid good money for. I should have known better, yet when you are looking for ways to generate extra money sometimes you lose sight of reality. This is the type of business that would be more geared for teens looking to make extra Christmas money, rather that someone looking to make serious cash. Having an entire detailed business plan and model based off of stringing Christmas lights on someone's home, is something that rarely serves the financial needs of someone that needs a decent income. This is why I gave up so quickly, as I was not making the money that was even remotely outlined in the package. This program known as Cashing In On Christmas is definitely something that should be considered as a novelty idea, and not something that should be taken serious if you are honestly looking to make money. There are very few people that you will encounter that would pay good money for you to climb up on their roof and string these lights, in preparation for the holidays. More often than not, the home owner themselves are more than willing to save the money and do it themselves. For those that are not capable, you can easily find someone local that would be willing to do this, if not for free then for a very marginal cost. There are many churches today, that will assist those that need this task performed and this will be done for free. It must be a program that catches people off guard, and the ploy that you will make a lot of money is not uncommon. I would not recommend Cashing In On Christmas for anyone that is serious about making money, whether it is simple extra cash or you are trying to make a business out of it. There just are not enough people out there willing to be taken advantage of, and preying on those that are not capable of doing this job themselves unfortunately are the targets in this type of business. You would be better served to look at another business plan, if you are truly in line to make extra money or are thinking about a career change.
