Cash Fiesta .com
Stay far away from this paid-to-surf scheme

There are a lot of “get paid to surf the web” sites out there, and cash fiesta .com is probably one of the worst. In addition to the fact that they’ve been rapidly dropping their rates since they first launched, they’re one of those sites that will go out of their way to find any evidence that you’ve been “cheating” their program so that they don’t have to pay you. As long as it takes to build up enough money for a payout, this can be not only annoying but also a huge waste of your time.
I remember seeing cash fiesta.com advertised online when it first came out, and even though I didn’t sign up for it then I remember thinking that it sounded like a pretty good deal. They weren’t paying a huge amount, but considering the amount of time that I spend online sometimes I could see it adding up pretty quickly. Flash forward a year or two and I ran across a mention of it again.
I decided to try Cash Fiesta out this time, and even though I was disappointed to see how much their rates had dropped I figured it still wouldn’t hurt to have a few cents coming in whenever I was online. Things were going pretty well I guess, the little toolbar was working like it should and the amount in my account was slowly but steadily growing.
The problem, of course, came when I decided it was time to cash out some of what I’d earned so that I could have a little bit of extra money. All of a sudden I had apparently violated their terms of service and had my account cancelled. No payout, no nothing.
Sending an email to complain about it just resulted in me getting a form letter talking about how they have to stay vigilant and protect themselves from cheaters and other people who would abuse their terms and conditions. The problem with this is that I made sure that I didn’t do anything to violate them. I wrote back asking for specifics, but never received them.
Looking online afterwards, I learned that I’m not the only person who’s had this sort of problems with them. It seems that cash fiesta.com has made quite a business of getting poor saps to install their little toolbar and watch the ads that appear on it only to do whatever they can to cancel the accounts before they actually have to pay out. I guess it’s one of those “too good to be true” things, but that doesn’t mean that I can’t be angry about it.
I wish that someone would shut them down, since it’s obvious that all that they’re doing is scamming the public in order to make money for themselves. I imagine that they probably do pay out to some people just so that they’ll have some people defending them, but the chances of you being one of those lucky people whom they actually pay is probably rather slim. Avoid them if you can.
